When properly stored, tallow balm typically lasts 6-12 months after opening and up to a year unopened.

Because tallow balm contains no added water, it has a naturally stable shelf life. For best results, store with the lid tightly closed and avoid introducing moisture into the jar.

If your tallow balm becomes liquefied due to heat, it is still perfectly find to use.

Tallow naturally melts in warm temperatures. If you prefer a firmer texture, simply place the jar in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes to allow it to set back up. Weather your balm is liquid, whipped, or solid is purely a texture preference, the quality and effectiveness remain the same.
